How To ROOT Samsung Galaxy S duos

Since Samsung has not yet released the official Jellybean update for S duos, the loyal Sammy customers are highly disgraced. Therefore i bring you today the tutorial for rooting your Icecream Sandwich to Jellybean....




Before we proceed, make sure:

>You have installed your Galaxy S Duos S7562 USB drivers on your PC.
>You need to enable USB debugging mode which is DEactivated by default.
>You Galaxy S Duos S7562 should have 70-80% charge remaining.
>Backup your important data like Call logs, SMS and other data in stored in phone memory so in >case if anything goes wrong, your data is not hurt.
>The update is only meant for Galaxy S Duos S7562, so don’t try it on other variants.

Note: Do it at your own risk. I'am not to be held responsible if you damage or brick your phone. Also remember rooting your device will void its warranty.

How to Root Galaxy S Duos S7562 on Android 4.0.4 ICS Firmware :-
Step 1) Download Root Package for Galaxy S Duos S7562 from here..

Step 2) Connect your Galaxy S Duos S7562 to your PC and copy the downloaded file to SD card.

Step 3) Turn OFF your phone.

Step 4) Now you will need to get your phone in Recovery Mode. For that turn ON the phone while pressing Volume Up + Volume Down + Home + Power buttons.

Step 5) In CWM recovery, you will need to wipe the data first and then scroll down to flash zip from SD card. Select power button to select it.

Step 6) Again press power button and select choose zip from sdcard.

Step 7) Navigate to CWM-SuperSU-v0.96.zip using volume keys and select it with the help of power button. Confirm installation to start it.

Step 9) When the installation is completed, go to +++++Go Back and then reboot your tablet from recovery menu.
